This painting was created on location in Yosemite Valley. I set up my painting location not far off from Clark Bridge along the Merced River. It was beautiful and the view of Half Dome was amazing with a meadow in the foreground, pine trees in the the middle area and then the face of Half Dome rising up before me. I wanted to capture the granite and the sheer face. It is awe inspiring and tempting. One of Americas true must see monuments.

Framing is available. My husband hand makes the frame and can do it out of your prefered wood. Often we frame in Oak and Maple. There is an added charge of $100 for custom framing.
